Drone Impact Gamepasses

Thermal vision and Premium reload — what they change, who should buy, and how to use them without wasting Robux.

Gamepasses

Paid perks in Drone Impact [ROCKETS] are simple on paper and easy to misuse in fights. This page covers the two publicly highlighted gamepasses — Thermal vision (тепловизор) and Premium (missile reload −15 seconds) — with practical worth-it advice for Attackers, Defenders, and Defense mode grinders.

Nothing here invents extra passes. If the creators add more, we will extend the table after confirming them against the live shop and Updates.

Quick comparison

Both are optional. The free kit — drones, rockets, guns, EW — already defines the Attack/Defend fantasy described on the Players Hub.

Thermal vision (тепловизор)

What it is for

Thermal vision is an awareness pass. In a drone battleground packed with foliage, wrecks, and dusk lighting on maps such as Abandoned Fields, missing a low FPV or a flanking defender is common. Thermal helps you pick signatures earlier so you can pre-aim, call, or reposition EW.

How to use it well

  • Sweep lanes on a rhythm, not a panic stare
  • Call what you see so non-Thermal teammates still benefit
  • Pair with sound: thermal without listening still eats rockets
  • On Defense mode, use it to prioritize which of the ~75 UAV signatures is the actual threat cluster

How people waste it

  • Treating thermal like unauthorized ESP scripts (see Script Safety) and ignoring cover
  • Tunneling on one bright blob while a second FPV cracks the objective
  • Buying thermal before learning basic map geometry from Getting Started

Worth it if…

  • You main Defender and lose rounds to sneaky FPV
  • You attacker-scout and need faster target acquisition before committing missiles
  • You play in stacks that actually listen to callouts

Skip or delay if…

  • You still mis-vote maps and fly into obvious EW every life
  • Your issue is reload tempo on missiles (buy Premium mindset first)
  • You expected aimbot behavior — that is not what this pass is

Premium (missile reload −15s)

What it is for

Premium shortens missile reload by fifteen seconds after the v1.5.0 missile system update. In siege terms, that is extra tempo: more volleys per life, denser pressure on repair windows, and more chances to bait EW before FPV enters.

How to use it well

  1. Plan a two-volley structure per life: open, wait reactions, punish.
  2. Aim at infrastructure nodes that matter — AA nests, generators, repair pads — not empty terrain.
  3. Sync with an FPV teammate who enters when defenders rotate to the missile sky.
  4. Track your personal reload timer so you do not stand exposed waiting.

How people waste it

  • Panic-dumping both volleys the instant they spawn
  • Never flying FPV or drones, turning Premium into a slower artillery sim
  • Ignoring defender adaptations; good EW players will hunt Premium users harder

Worth it if…

  • You already hit structures consistently without the pass
  • Your stack runs coordinated missile + FPV “one-two” strikes
  • You play attacker-heavy schedules and feel blocked by reload downtime

Skip or delay if…

  • You are still learning which buildings matter on each voted map (post-v1.1.0)
  • You mainly play pure Defender gunplay
  • You hoped Premium would include thermal, cosmetics bundles, or code-like freebies — check the live shop; do not trust random blogs or empty Codes rumors

Attackers vs Defenders — purchase priority

Attacker-leaning players: Premium first if missiles are central to your kit; Thermal second for scout/FPV survival.

Defender-leaning players: Thermal first for acquisition; Premium only if you flex attacker often or enjoy hybrid missile denial roles.

Defense mode specialists: Thermal often feels better for wave sorting; Premium helps less unless the mode lets you use missiles meaningfully in that ruleset — test once before spending.

Cross-check any community tier takes on the wiki’s tier list pages after patches; passes move in value when UAV or missile tuning shifts (Patch Notes).

Robux hygiene

  • Buy only through official Roblox gamepass prompts inside the experience or store UI
  • Beware “free gamepass” sites — they are phishing
  • Passes bind to the account; a ban from cheating (Scripts Hub) wastes the purchase
  • After buying, immediately run the loadout checklist so the perk is in your routine, not forgotten

Synergy with updates

  • v1.1.0 map voting — Thermal value rises on unfamiliar layouts
  • v1.3.0 UAV rework / Defense mode — awareness perks shine during dense skies
  • v1.5.0 missile system — Premium’s −15s reload becomes a headline attacker buy

When a new version lands, reassess before gifting passes to friends.

Fiction note

Thermal and missile fantasy wording stays inside the game. Drone Impact is not real geopolitics; spending Robux does not simulate real military procurement.

Buy for a job you already understand. Passes multiply skill; they rarely create it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Attackers, Defenders, and new pilots.

What does the Premium gamepass do?

Premium’s highlighted combat perk is a 15-second reduction on missile reload following the v1.5.0-era update. Confirm the live shop for any additional cosmetics or perks.

What does Thermal vision do?

Thermal vision improves heat-style awareness for spotting drones, FPV, or players sooner. It is an official awareness pass, not an injected ESP script.

Which gamepass should I buy first?

Attacker mains who already land missiles usually prefer Premium. Defender or scout-heavy players often prefer Thermal first.

Can codes unlock these gamepasses?

As of September 2026 no verified codes exist. Assume passes are Robux purchases unless official promos say otherwise.

Do gamepasses work in Defense mode?

Thermal awareness helps during dense UAV waves. Premium matters when missiles are available and useful in that mode — test your loadout after purchase.
