Loadout Checklist

Use this page as a live checklist before and during Drone Impact [ROCKETS] matches. It expands the mindset from the Tools Hub into concrete attacker and defender steps. Tick items mentally in lobby, after map votes, and on each respawn.

Context: Roblox Action / Battlegrounds, max 12 players, Attackers vs Defenders, optional Defense mode (~75 UAV waves). Fiction only — not real geopolitics.

Universal pre-match checklist

  • Mic or clear text binds ready
  • Mode known: Attack/Defend vs Defense mode
  • Role claimed (do not silently duplicate five FPVs)
  • Gamepasses noted: Thermal vision? Premium (−15s missile reload)? — details on Gamepasses
  • Map vote plan ready (post-v1.1.0), including Abandoned Fields preferences
  • One-sentence win condition shared with the stack
  • No shady “tools” running — see Scripts / Script Safety

If you are new, finish Getting Started once, then return here every session.

Attacker checklist — missile / rocket pressure

Before launch

  • Primary structure targets named (AA, power, repair, core)
  • Reload plan set: single measured volley vs Premium two-volley tempo (v1.5.0)
  • Escape or reposition path after firing (do not stand celebrating)
  • Teammate assigned to watch your sky for defender focus fire

During the volley

  • Confirm defenders revealing gun positions
  • Call “missiles away” so FPV holds for the gap
  • Avoid dumping all ammo into already-dead props
  • Track personal reload; queue secondary pressure (drone scout) while waiting

After the volley

  • Did EW flare? Mark jam cones for the next life
  • Did repairs start? Re-hit the repair node, not random walls
  • Swap to FPV checklist if soft openings appeared

Failure review: missed shots, no follow-up, or telegraphed standing reloads.

Attacker checklist — FPV / drone breach

Before commit

  • Scout pass done (drone or teammate eyes)
  • Known EW locations and recent jam timers
  • Ingress altitude chosen for the voted map (fields vs tight infrastructure)
  • Egress idea if you miss — crash with info, not with silence
  • Thermal sweep if owned; call signatures for the team

In flight

  • Approach from the lane defenders are not currently spraying
  • Jink when tracers converge; do not fly ruler-straight into guns
  • Prioritize the objective node you briefed — resist random revenge chasing
  • Listen for jam; abort early if control is dying and a second FPV can take the window

After crash / success

  • Call damage state accurately (“generator cracked” vs “only cosmetic hits”)
  • Request missile re-pressure if Premium teammate is up
  • Change vector next life; identical replays feed defender aim trainers

Failure review: zero scout, ignored EW, no callouts, ego mid-map tours.

Defender checklist — AA guns (machine gun + pistol)

Setup

  • Lane assignments posted (who watches which sky slice)
  • Nested positions with cover and exit routes
  • Magazine discipline plan for Defense mode volume
  • Pistol ready for close leaks / grounded threats
  • Thermal owners assigned as early-warning callers

During contact

  • Burst fire with lead appropriate to post-v1.3.0 UAV behavior
  • Call “FPV [direction]” immediately — do not silently duel
  • Swap focus if missiles inbound; do not all stare at one scout drone
  • Peel to pistol when the fight enters knife-fight ranges around the nest

Reset between pushes

  • Reload behind cover
  • Re-center on objective, not kill chase into attacker spawn paths
  • Rotate if the same angle dies twice

Failure review: everyone stacked on one roof, dry guns during the real FPV, no calls.

Defender checklist — EW / РЭБ

Placement

  • EW covers converge lanes attackers actually use on this map vote
  • Overlap lightly with gun nests without stacking all denial in one bombable spot
  • Backup position identified if the first nest is missile-deleted

Timing

  • Hold jam for commits, not every distant scout
  • Communicate “EW up / EW down” so gunners know the window
  • After baiting a failed FPV, reposition — attackers will pre-aim the old cone

Teamplay

  • Pair with a gunner who finishes jammed targets
  • Watch for Premium missile tempos that try to desync your cooldown
  • In Defense mode, spend EW on wave clumps that threaten the core, not scrap trickle

Failure review: early jam waste, isolated EW island, no gun follow-up.

Defense mode wave card (~75 UAVs)

  • Warm-up tracking on early light drones
  • Save full panic spray for dense mid/late clumps
  • Rotate after each wave if a blind corner leaked
  • Thermal sorting: bright priority targets first
  • EW only on the push that breaks your gun crossfire
  • After the run, write one note for PvP Attack/Defend (Players Hub)

Post-death 10-second card (both teams)

  1. What killed me — gun, EW, missile, FPV?
  2. What info did I give the team before dying?
  3. What changes on the next life — angle, tool, timing?
  4. Any patch habit outdated? Check Patch Notes weekly.

Optional gear reminders

  • Premium users: enforce two-volley discipline
  • Thermal users: sweep on a timer, not only when scared
  • No verified promo codes as of Sep 2026 — do not stall lobbies searching fake lists

Run the list until it is muscle memory. In Drone Impact, the loadout in your head matters as much as the item in your hand.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Attackers, Defenders, and new pilots.

Should I run every checkbox every life?

Use the full pre-match list in lobby, then the shorter attacker or defender cards on each life. The post-death 10-second card keeps you adapting without freezing.

How do Premium and Thermal appear in the checklist?

Note them pre-match. Premium changes missile volley planning; Thermal adds scheduled awareness sweeps and callout duty.

Is there a separate list for Defense mode?

Yes — the wave card focuses on ~75 UAV pacing, magazine discipline, and EW thrift, then exports lessons to PvP.

Can I share this checklist with my stack?

Please do. Assign who owns EW calls versus missile calls so twelve-player lobbies stop duplicating jobs.

Where do I learn the roles behind these lists?

Start with the Players Hub and Getting Started, then return here to operationalize the habits.
